Women’s and Gender Studies is an innovative, interdisciplinary, academic field of study focused on analyzing the lives, achievements, and experiences of women–past and present–across the academic disciplines. There is also a strong effort to recognize and document the diversity of women’s experiences across age, race, ethnic groups, social class, and physical condition.
