“A Life In Translation: Chronic Illness and Narrative Medicine Across Identities.” In this talk, Downey will draw from her work, and her writing, to illuminate the importance of storytelling, and a narrative-medicine informed approach, as a vital means of translation, one that is central to patient advocacy and care.
